Mr Welcome Mbokazi is a Community Development Professional currently specialising in Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (MER) of health research Public Engagement Programmatic projects at Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) since 2021. He is passionate about community development project management, using participatory approaches in aspects like stakeholder (engagement) relations facilitation, and primary healthcare promotion in under-resourced settings. He holds a Master of Philosophy in HIV-AIDS Management (MPhil) from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Mr Mbokazi has served as a U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief, Research Fellow in 2009-2010 (PEPFAR Research Fellow) specialising in HIV-AIDS and TB programme monitoring and evaluation.Â
